NORFOLK, Va. (AP)—Valdas Vasylius was 6-for-7 from the field and scored 19 points and Arnaud Dahi added 15 to lead Old Dominion over Richmond 69-52 on Saturday.
The Monarchs (5-1) took the lead two minutes into the game and never trailed, taking a 28-21 lead into the half. The Spiders (3-1) pulled to 39-37 six minutes into the second half but Old Dominion built a 16-point lead with 7:56 to play behind the scoring of Vasylius and Dahi.
Ryan Butler led Richmond with 15 points and Peter Thomas added 11.
Brian Henderson and Brandon Johnson each had 10 for the Monarchs.
