SAN ANTONIO (AP)—Kurt Attaway hit a 3-pointer from the left corner with 3.4 seconds left Thursday night to give Texas-San Antonio a 71-68 victory over Stephen F. Austin.
Stephen F. Austin had tied the game at 68 with 12 seconds left when Marcus Clark hit one of his two free throws.
The Roadrunners (11-14, 6-8 Southland) had led for most of the second half.
Andre Owens led Texas-San Antonio with 22 points. Abe Donlon added 16 and Attaway had 10.
Josh Alexander led the Lumberjacks (13-11, 6-7) with 22 points. Antuane Miller added 16. Clark had six, half his season average.
The Roadrunners won their fourth straight.
