WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP)—Joe Knight scored 16 points to lead Lehigh to a 69-44 win over Army in the Patriot League on Saturday.
Lehigh (16-9, 9-1) took a 16-4 lead on an early surge that included half of Knight’s points. The Mountain Hawks held Army (5-18, 1-10) to 30 percent shooting from the field and won for the 11th time in 12 games.
It was the sixth straight loss for the Black Knights (5-18, 1-10), who sunk only four of 20 shots and turned the ball over eight times in the first half. Lehigh led 33-13 at the break.
Knight hit six of his eight shots, including four 3-pointers. Lehigh outrebounded Army 43-25. James Anderson had six.
Jarell Brown led Army with 14 points. Freshman John Moonshower added nine off the bench.
