NORMAL, Ill. (AP)—Neil Plank had 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds in Illinois State’s 65-36 win over IPFW on Tuesday.
Eric Vianney added nine points for the Redbirds, while Michael Vandello, Greg Dilligard and Khalif Ford each had eight.
IPFW was zero-for-seven from beyond the 3-point arc in the first half. The Redbirds led 30-13 at the break.
Kyle Savely led IPFW scorers with nine points. Justin Hawkins had eight points, while Tyler Best chipped in seven.
The victory lifted the Redbirds’ record to 5-1, while IPFW fell to 2-5.
