PEORIA, Ill. (AP)—Jeremy Couch came off the bench Saturday to score 18 points on 4-of-7 shooting to help lead Bradley in a 93-64 victory over Bowling Green.
Couch made three of his four 3-point attempts and connected on seven of nine free throws. He also grabbed three rebounds for Bradley (3-1), which outrebounded Bowling Green 40-32.
Martin Samarco led Bowling Green (2-4), scoring 27 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Samarco also made four of eight 3-pointers to keep the Falcons in the game. They trailed 50-39 at halftime.
But Bradley’s depth was too much for Bowling Green. The Braves shot 50 percent from 3-point range and had four players score in double figures. Tony Bennett scored 16 points, while Zach Andrews and Lawrence Wright added 12 and 10, respectively. Daniel Ruffin added nine points in the win.
