FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP)—Matt Williams scored 23 points as Colorado State beat Drake 72-62 Saturday night.
Drake (1-3) had tied the score at 62 late in the game, but Colorado State (4-2) went on a 10-0 run and held the Bulldogs scoreless in the final four minutes.
Colorado State lead by as many as 11 points in the first half before Drake rallied to trail by 32-31 at the half.
Drake took a 1-point lead early in the half and exchanged leads three times with the Rams before losing the lead with 15:30 left to play.
Pete Eggers led Drake with 21 points, while Aliou Keita added 19.
Dwight Boatner scored 13 points, while Jason Smith had 12 points and Matt Nelson and Micheal Morris scored 10 points each for Colorado State.
