BATON ROUGE, La. (AP)—Jaime Lloreda posted his fourth double-double of the year, scoring 22 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, as LSU defeated Tulane 67-48 Tuesday night.
Darrel Mitchell, in his first start of the year for LSU (7-0), tied his career high with 19 points, including four 3-pointers, while Tack Minor came off the bench and also tied his season high with 12.
Tulane (5-3) was plagued by poor shooting, hitting just 34.4 percent of its field goal attempts and was 1-of-11 in free throw attempts.
Wayne Tinsley led the Green Wave with 12 points while Vytas Tatarunas added 10.
LSU scored 25 points off of 17 Tulane turnovers.
