VESTAL, N.Y. (AP)—Guard Anthony Green scored 20 points to lead Binghamton past Columbia 70-42 on Tuesday night.
The Bearcats (2-0) went on a 15-0 run starting in the first period and had a 20-point edge at the end of the first half, where Green scored his first 13.
In the second half, Columbia (0-3) narrowed the margin slightly, until Binghamton forward Stanley Ocitti scored 12 points during a 17-0 run, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Columbia shot 29 percent for the game with no players in double digits.
