CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands (AP)—Terry Taylor scored 23 points to lead Virginia Tech to a 65-53 victory over Michigan at the Paradise Jam tournament on Sunday night.

Carlos Dixon added 20 points for the Hokies (1-1), who used a 15-1 run late in the second half to take a 15-point lead.

The Wolverines (0-2) shot 27 percent for the game. Graham Brown had 14 points for Michigan. Daniel Horton and Bernard Robinson each added 12 points.

Virginia Tech will play Toledo on Monday in the third-place game in the tournament. Michigan plays Kansas State for fifth place.
