Sacramento State beats California Maritime 66-38
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP)—Konner Veteto came off the bench to score 14 points and pull down 10 rebounds in Sacramento State’s 66-38 win over California Maritime on Saturday.
The Hornets (4-5) led the whole way, shooting 42 percent from the field and 83 percent from the free-throw line. Veteto made 6 of 11 from the floor.
John Dickson led the Hornets with 16 points while Walter Jackson added nine.
The Keelhaulers (6-7) shot just 26 percent from the field. Howie Manzo came off the bench to lead Cal Maritime with nine points, shooting 4 for 5 from the floor. Josh Greenwell and Ryan Pearson added eight points each.
