The Dagger - NCAAB

Midnight Madness produces some memorable moments each year, so we're chronicling the best ones from Friday's lineup all weekend. If you spot something we missed, let us know here or here.

It may be a while before Maryland fans get to see Ukrainian 7-footer Alex Len in uniform again, but the freshman big man gave them a fun highlight to tide them over at Friday night's Maryland Madness. When Len was introduced to the Maryland crowd, he did a cartwheel through the paint, caught an alley-oop pass and slammed it home. If that didn't get Terps fans eager for a ruling from the NCAA eligibility center on Len's amateur status, his performance in the scrimmage probably did. He ran the floor well, showcased his athleticism and finished with 14 points, mostly on dunks.
