The Dagger - NCAAB

Ah, fandom. It knows no bounds. Sure, at a hockey game, you might be more inclined to pay attention to what's going on on the ice, to see whether your favorite team is "attacking" in the "neutral zone" and "getting position in the slot." These are real hockey terms, yes? Help me out here, Wyshynski.

But that doesn't mean you turn off your seething, unreasonable hatred of all things Duke. Contempt isn't a light switch. Exhibit A: this guy:

According to Mr. Irrelevant [naughty language alert] (via Wizznutzz), this guy tracked the puck across the ice, figured out where the camera would be, and turned around just in time to get his FCC-unapproved message on camera. Which is sort of incredible, when you really think about it. The hatred. The derision. The ... ingenuity.

It's true, what they say. War does funny things to men.

Wait...what? Like Duke the college? Seriously, a hockey game between the Caps and the Pens? Is this really the best platform to get your message across? God North Carolina fans are frikin retarded.

I have been a Duke basketball fan for over 30 years. Both the good times and the bad. If you want to hate so badly why don't you give UNC a try. That will not bother me.

Why does everyone assume he is a Carolina fan? If people hated because the teams were good then Carolina would be hated as much as Duke. The difference is that Carolina doesnt have a gay coach.

people hate dook because they are so hateable. not because of any success the program has had. ratman is the foul mouthed version of andrew dice clay. too much hype for a program that has had such limited success putting out pro players, which kind of proves the dook-bias that is at the root of so much of the hatred.

Are you kidding? Have you seen Reddick? he is Reddiculous....ly gay!
Ratman must be proud when he watches the NBA and sees him riding the bench.
Warms his heart much like their showers together did.
