Hansbrough sucks! He wanted so badly to dunk over Griffen he looked like a fool when he tryed that. I hate that UNC is not gettin anybodys best game. If they win the tourney first and foremost it will not be becuz of Hansbrough but i feel even carolina fans have gotta understand that. Lets all hope they don't get handed the title by Mich. St. somehow upsetting Uconn. I think it will be even sweeter to see them lose in the Championship. I can't wait to see him try and do this again over Thabeet

Hansbrough obviously has seen video of Blake Griffin the last two days and also realized he was outplayed by him in this one, so he tried to make up for it with this dunk attempt. Then Griffin ran down the other end and threw up a pretty wild shot himself. Hansbrough usually makes better decisions than this but I think the hype and pressure of the moment got to him.

It looked pretty silly, but A) I can't dunk and probably neither can anybody else here and B) don't forget Hansbrough had the cajones to dunk over 7'9" Kenny George last year. Maybe he can't sky, but at least he's not shy.

Knew all this was coming...Hansbrough, being the fierce competitor that he is, tried something that perhaps he shouldn't have tried. In certain situations, like the night he became the all-time leading scorer at UNC, he was was very hyped and lost his head a little until Williams sat him down to cool off. He's still bank. And no, he's not our most valuable player, but pretty darned valuable. People have already forgotten that before Tyler had to ride the pine with foul trouble, Blake Griffin had no points and less rebounds than Tyler. Don't get me wrong. Griffin is a beast and a pleasure to watch. The bottom line here is the Tarheels easily dispatched Griffin and the Sooners.

Hansbrough looked like the fourth best player on his team today. That's how deep and dangerous the Tar Heels are. They've got to be the hands-down favorite to win.

Sounds like alot of sour grapes going around here. Tyler was frustrated for sure, but for what he couldn't do tonite and( mite I add for the fist 11 minutes of the game Griffin was held scoreless, )his teammates picked up the slack for him just as he has for them throughout the year. I never knew that there were so many stupid people out there.........why can't you just admit that Carolina is a good team and deserves to be in the final four. When you start putting race in the middle of college basketball you are definitely letting your stupidity show through. Oklahoma is a good team...makes no difference if black or white. When you play as a team you win. When you play as one you loose..........Griffin showed up tonite.........the rest of them team did not. Carolina has played as a team all year long..........that is why they have made it as far as they have. I am pround to be a CAROLINA TARHEELS FAN........

Any criticism of Hansbrough for a single dunk is out of ignorance. He does happen to be the leading scorer in the history of the ACC and last years Naismith Award winner. He has thrown down many impressive dunks in his career. This instance he went up and had a little dude named Griffin impeding his progress. If Griffin wasnt there, he would have slammed nicely. Shut up dumbasses.

uglyhoma still got beat down. to "dudlydyr" and his racist remark:white men can jump. theres just simply less of than blacks. it was held ( mythically) that blacks were better singers (and maybe some of u still hold that thinking), but look who enters and dominates more american idol competitions. whites. american idol is a testament of case study. edmit it:uglyhoma hed no chance in beating unc. no chance.
and, most all commentators doubted michigan state to win pass the second round. the second freaking round!!!!!!!! msu has had the toughest round out of the final four finalists. or, at least the second toughest.

And saying that white men can't jump, is also like saying black men can't think, or focus, or show patience, or be modest, or stop selling drugs, or stop provoking violence, or, need I go on...THE ONLY REASON WHY TYLER DIDN'T DUNK that one was because he didn't want to foul. He would HAVE dunked it on griffins face - Griffin would NOT be able to dunk on tylers face ( and griffin reminds me of that one-handed creature from "Clash Of The Titans").
Uglyhoma lost. And, do people hate Duke because they have a good percentage of WHITE players? I really think that is the case. If so, people should hate most other teams for having mostly black players. Duke is usually on top of their game more so than most teams:only 32 and 16 teams, out of the whole mess(a few hundred schools) make it to the 2nd round and sweet 16. North Carolina as a state simply provides better players. EAT IT AND CHOKE ON IT.

I gotta add my two cents in on this one:
1: KJ7, if you think Hansbrough has trouble dunking over 7 footers, just youtube Hansbroughs name and the first video you see is of him dunking over a 7 foot 7 inch player named Kenny George. so that right there dis-proves your theory.
2nd: to all you Carolina Haters, Hansbrough carried the Heels for 4 years. come on! are you kidding Me! I do admit he did have an off game, but he was also assisting, setting picks, rebounding, and playing just a little thing called DEFENSE. and 3rd, i do admit Ty Lawson is the MVP of that team, and the Unsung Hero goes to Long Island's own Danny Green. Green's overall play has carried them all season. Long Island represent!
3rd. Every Carolina fan knows that feeling that they got when they saw the Heels in Last Years final four get blown out by Kansas, and that is why they all (Lawson, Ellington, Green, Hansbrough) came back for this season. Watching them go down to almost 30, and come within 2 or 4 points was heartbreaking, but That will not happen this year! this is definitely the Heel's Year! especially for Roy's own players he recruited!
4th. It was nice to see Jason Capel in the audience rooting for his brother.. Another college player who left early and became a bust in the NBA.
