Tim Floyd, casino peace enforcer

Tim Floyd currently has a lot of free time. How does he spend it? Apparently by roaming the land, seeking out catfights at casinos, and promptly mediating the situations:

Look at Coach Floyd! He just slowly wades into the morass, oblivious, unflinching, scared of nothing -- not even a leopard-print-wearing female's attempts to bash him in the back of the head with a plastic chair. And before you know it, the chairs are set down, the scratches are unscratched, and the cheap hair extensions are released. Is Tim Floyd a hero? He'd never say so. But by golly, if that's not a hero, I don't know what a hero is anymore.

He was about to get bashed in the head by a chair. Good thing the other guy was backing him up. So nonchalant while everybody else just watches.

Boy if he had done this with the Bulls and/or the Trojans, he'd still be coaching...

tim floyd is a pretty good college coach, and he did a great job with USC; it's just sad that he and others were giving OJ Mayo inproper benefits. it's also nice that he wasn't a [profane] and helped break up that fight with those chicks

Watch the related videos when you're done. This is clearly Floyd's kinder, gentler twin brother.

That is what you call a true warrior.I have always thought of him as one of the greatest coaches of all time, and that one incident right there solidifies my thinking. He did not have to do that but he did...way to go Tim this world needs more heroes like you.If not for you that could have escalated into a full blown riot and no telling what could have happened...thank God you were there to stop it in the nick of time..saving injury to people and maybe even saving lives...

Ok this bloggin' is only mildly sports related but my god is it entertaining. First, Floyd is just about the only male brave enough to enter the ruckus, no one with a set of balls even attempts to break it up. Second, do you see the actual fight, its one woman pulling at another woman's hair like its a stubbron root. She tugs relentlessly like she expect the weave to give. The woman on the floor is lying there kicking her legs like squirming is a new defnese tatic. Finally!, the respectable young lady in the leopard print. Wow, just wow. She shouts a battle cry, removes her shoes casually, sets down her purse and auxillary bag, attmepts to I assume curb stomp the woman on the floor, is rejected entry by our hero Tim Floyd, feels as if a man who is double her poundage blockading her from offically making the fight a jumping is an injustice so decide to pick up A PLASTIC CHAIR OVER HER HEAD. And tries to HIT AN INNCOCENT (and mildly famous) PARTY IN THE HEAD. A large man, who seems to be a bouncer/security, and should be doing what Floyd is doing goes to grba the chair and (this is the most amazing part) WRESTLES WITH THE GUY FOR 18 SECONDS BEFORE SHE GIVES UP. Thats a solid 15 more seconds than I would have challenged a guy mcuh bigger than I for possesion and control over a plastic chair. I LOVE AMERICA. (btw, anyone know if the woman in the leopard print is single?)

Is it just me, or is the guy in the white shirt former USC coach Henry Bibby who is watching Floyd's back? Ex USC coaches commiserating over a couple of cocktails and a roll of the dice?

Floyd goes 0 for 130 as Bulls coach---granted he inherited the total mess that Jerry Crumbs Krauss left for him but....then he gets the Trojey job....whatta joke.
He's lucky he didn't take a blow there...The lesson here is "DONT GET INVOLVED" in [profane] like this...not worth it. Let the idiots kill eachother, get a box of popcorn and watch it. Guy has the common sense of a thimble...
and Anthony, ALL casinos are [profane]-t-y seedholes bro...puhleeze
