No joke: See Duke guard Nolan Smith as Kate Winslet in 'Titanic'

On Friday, Chris Chase showed you Duke's "Countdown to Craziness" promotional poster, which depicted the Blue Devils as characters from the movie Goodfellas. Granted, Goodfellas probably didn't even have this many characters, but that's beside the point, right? Right. This might not be the most clever movie-based college basketball poster ever, but at least the Devils are having fun with it.

Anyway, apparently Duke's cinematic theme wasn't a one-off. At the Midnight Madness event Friday night, the following video -- which featured Duke players reenacting famous scenes in various recognizable films -- no doubt brought the house down. Or at least forced everyone to quickly shield their eyes. I'm looking at you, Nolan Smith. Far too much of you:

Oof. Assistant coach Steve Wojiechowski gets a gold star for his performance as a cotton-ball-cheeked Godfather, but other than that, oof. Here's hoping Nolan Smithat least held out for a guarantee of more playing time before his nude scene. Kate Winslet's agent would expect nothing less.

    I am a huge Duke fan and all I have to say is that finally, Eamonn Brennan, when you commented on Duke it was legit this time. All I have to say about this video is wow... can there be a more embarrasing video featuring our players?

    I'm positively anti-Duke, but I have to say that Titanic parody was pretty funny. The only problem is I can't help but think Coach K wrote that sketch specifically to get Nolan Smith to take it off.

    Thats just straight up gay. You dont see UK ever making retarded stuff like that, and thats a really good thing. Instead our boys are getting ready to bring home CHAMPIONSHIP #8!!!!!

    Oh my! Shame on all of you! If you have time for this, then you all must be getting all passes, shots and no fouls during game time and all A's and B's in your classes. I am not in the least worried about your "gay" part, just in the stuff that really matters in the real world of college, grades and basketball.

    Lol .. very funny, but things like this are good for team, relax and have fun, thats what teams like Notre Dame and USC football do, and they are among the BEST programs in football

    They will definately go down like Titanic, if they have to play Kentucky. I am a Duke fan but UK's madness was way better than anyone else's. It had what the recruits want, and wasn't so cheesy. I can't see us Dukies or anybody getting close to that team. If this season plays out like a movie, it will be Godzilla, with Kentucky destroying everything in their path.

    These scenes were very funny which you have to have a sense of humor. I'm a HUGE DUKE FAN and there's nothing wrong with our players having fun every once and a while. So to all the duke haters just watch out we will take ya'll down on the court.

    WOW #12 I think you are a Kentucky fan who likes DUKE! Don't you dare put a program who in 5 years from now will be investigated by the Ncaa and have a season or two tooken away like what just happened in Memphis!!! Kentucky fans no disrespect, (Memphis fans either)but its obvious #12 just became a fan in 2001 or later.. FYI a true Duke fan bleeds blue no matter what the opposition is if the two played we(DUKE) would beat Kentucky by 6 or 10 points due to us having most of our players back, and this being Kentucky's chemistry test. ACC dominates College Basketball, come on Kentucky's toughest conference game is Tennesee-NO TEST. YOU ARE NOT A DUKE FAN #12--knock it off--. All true Cameron Crazies stand up this is for us these FAke fans have no idea what us true fans go through(bashing,relatives,emails to blackberry,100 calls when we loose, the stress....but its all worth it.     The only thing Kentucky will destroy is the wallets of the boosters and alumni.Bring it on player payers, im a tarheel, we dont back down from nobody.Thats right,I said it, and my team will back it up like we always do.The 50s are over.Kentucky fans are the biggest bunch of crybabys.I even pull for Dook when they play Kentucky.Pot growing and horse kaka is all they know in them there hills.lololololololhahahahahahahahahaa

    SEC is the easiest conference.....Im a Tarheel BUT LETS HEAR IT dUKE FANS.The ACC is the toughest conference in the country.Thats why UNC or DUKE are always in the final 4.

    Why is a duke player taking any classes?I thought duke basketball players did not have to go to class.They get A's and B's just for playing basketball.
