The other day, Billy Gillispie was chased by a Louisville TV reporter
down the halls of one Kentucky's practice facility. Gillispie pretended
to be on the phone, and when that wouldn't get the pesky reporter man
off his case, he took off running. It was hilarious and awesome and
completely inexplicable, which is occasionally what local TV news
should be. "Man killed at gas station" tends to get a little
repititive.
And now, on the heels of rumor after rumor about John Calipari leaving Memphis to take the Kentucky job, Memphis' local Fox affiliate have stepped it up another notch. They're streaming video ... of nothing. The photo to the right there is a still, but it's basically what you see if you click through and watch the video. Some stairs, a little grass, a perfect-for-amateur-skateboarders railing. Apparently this is the front of Memphis' basketball offices, but it could be anywhere in the world. We'd never know the difference.
Every once in a while a person walks in and out of the screen. Then the screen gets fuzzy. If you stare long enough, you start to get dizzy. That's when I begin to think that Fox Memphis isn't covering a story so much as they're using modern methods of information delivery to create an esoteric artistic commentary on the transience of human life. And then I get a headache.

Wherever he ends up he is a good coach but Pitino might bolt to Arizona and Calipari has a good frienship with him. It didn't look like Pitino really enjoyed the politics at UK and is probably offering some words of advice.
For UK fans be careful what you wish for or for that matter pay for. You never know what you might get. If you want the best coach go after Mark Few... He turns the worst players into contenders year after year
