Kansas is the best talent, but getting by the Tar Heels might be their fall from the tourney. If not I believe that they will take it all. Memphis or the Horns will fill in the other side of the bracket. U C no L A in there, cheap, dirty, and lucky can only go so far. Would be cool if Texas could win it, but just don't see them matching up against Memphis, the Ruins, and then Carolina or the Jayhawks.

Ok Love hit a full court shot. How bout we give some love to Tyler Hansbourgh. The guy is a beast. It is sad he gets no pub for the NBA. He is a hard worker, physical, athletic, and a great kid. How is it a guy dominates in high school, college, and summer camps, but gets no wait all the Love is in UCLA. Please if Hansbourgh was of another race or from another country we all would swear he is a top 5 NBA pick. As an African American I have to say I guess in all aspects race and stereotypes do matter.

So Love can be a role player in the NBA because he will not be a force because he will go up against big guy like Yao every night and when that Xavier took him baseline that exposed the big man weakness. If he goes low he might end up on a LA where Kobe can make him look good although Farmar can be a starting guard in the NBA. Hansborough is another story. He is crazy and can be a pest to deal with because he is nonstop and physical. I would bet that he would be a better pro. Now for Texas A&M team that was cheated and UCLA should be in the dorms watching the tournament. Those refs knew that A&M were coming down to go inside to get a foul and while two UCLA players fouled the A&M player nothing was called. It was blatant cheating because CBS want UCLA in the final four. What you think Bruins?

Elisha, I hear you but the end of the game is far more important and rememberable than during the game. You remember the last shot, the last free throw and so on and this is why that last no call is being tagged to UCLA and have made them the most hated team since Duke and that is very bad company...and where is Shipp? Is he still on the team?

Fouls are fouls and points are points, they matter the same throughout the game. The missed call early in the game not only didn't cost A&M a foul but it did cost UCLA one, it gave A&M points and it gave A&M momentum, you can't deny that either of those things are less important at any point in the game as games are a sequence of events, each one influencing what happens next. If that never happened, who know if A&M would have even been in the game towards the end, or if UCLA would have been. But, yeah, sure everyone remembers a last play more, the thing is, it's ridiculous to get bent out of shape over a bad call at the end of the game but not so much about bad calls before the last five minutes of games.
As for UCLA being hated, well, for a school that holds 11 NCAA basketball championships and 100 NCAA championships overall shouldn't they really be hated more than Duke? It's offensive to even compare the two schools on any level, UCLA is a world class school and Duke is just another self-important east coast school. My personal position is if you want to hate UCLA, hate them more than Duke. Hell, hate the entire Pac-10 - they only have 386 NCAA championships and some of the best universities in the world in that conference. After all, aren't you supposed to hate the best? I can assure you, Bruin fans (the real ones at least) aren't bothered that their team is hated. They get that the fans are pissed at the officiating, but it's easier to target the team. (Kind of like the people who hate Hansbrough. It's easier to hate him than to hate Vitale, Bilas, and all the other ACC nutjobs in the media that verbally fellate the kid. Or root against him so they will be forced to shut up.)
And Josh Shipp is one of the biggest disappointments in UCLA basketball history. At some point a shooting slump has to become "well, he's just not very good."

11 national titles,88 straight wins, and the classiest, most successful coach in sports history.......I guess I would hate the bruins and whine about every call in their favor if I wasn't a true Bruin.Get over it and deal with it.They are UCLA.4 bluebloods in final 4 and the other 3 so called bluebloods can't match our 11 national titles combined. We may or may not get that 12th banner, but the bottom line is that UCLA is college basketball,so stop the whining and deal with it.I'm sick of the whining ........

First off, this post wasn't about hating on the Bruins. It was admiring Love's ability to hit those shots. Or did no one here actually watch the video? They just saw "Kevin Love" and cried, "Boo Bruins!"
Second, you can't blame the players (or the team) for calls that the officials made. It's not like Darren Collison had the ref's whistle in his hands when he "blocked" Johnson's shot. And it wasn't as if Kevin Love was strangling the referees at the end of the Cal game. Or Josh Shipp at the end of the Texas A&M game. The officials are human, they make mistakes, and calls go either way. In all of those games, the Bruins still had to make some gut-check plays to pull out the victory. Everyone acts as if the refs gave them the game.
Lastly, Kevin Love and Tyler Hansbrough... both of them have question makrs at the NBA level. Love wouldn't play center (probably) as he is undersized, and would probably shift to power forward, so I don't see him guarding Yao Ming much. And Hansbrough, while an excellent college player, just doesn't have NBA athleticism and an NBA body. Sorry to say that.

North Carolina and UCLA those are the 2 I have left the only 2 number ones I had cause they to me just stand out top to bottom as the best teams this year.. but Memphis and Kansas certainly have proven to be no flukes either.. I like UNC at the end ... is there any way the Celtics can end up with Love..or is that too greedy? :P
