Maybe it's because Kansas State has a great art school. Maybe it's because Wildcats fans are really excited about their newfound basketball success. Maybe it's because there's just not that much to do in Manhattan, Kan.
Whatever the reason, Kansas State pretty much leads the college basketball universe in creative T-shirt designs.
Six of my favorites are above, honoring everything from guard Jacob Pullen's trademark beard, to coach Frank Martin's infamous angry glare, to Bramlage Coliseum's unofficial nickname, the Octagon of Doom. These T-shirts and dozens more are available here, here and here for Kansas State fans looking to add to their collection.
The Octagon of Doom T-shirts have been so popular in Manhattan that some creative Kansas fans have struck back with a "Hawktagon" T-shirt celebrating the Jayhawks' history of success in "Allen Fieldhouse West." It's not the most clever rivalry T-shirt, but at least it's a little more sensitive than this inflammatory anti-K-State shirt that got yanked off the shelves in February.
