The Dagger - NCAAB

You may be familiar with Denis Clemente, you may not. Clemente is a guard at Kansas State. After transferring from Miami and sitting out the 2007-08 season, Clemente scored 14 points per game in a solid but unspectacular 2008-09 for the Wildcats.

Then, in the offseason, he did this:

That video was posted on July 25. (Somehow, it escaped my fiery eye until now, and I am very angry about that.) In the meantime, despite having been viewed only about 40,000 times on YouTube, Clemente has managed to go viral. It's the stuff of marketing whizzes and Nike executives the world over, great players doing crazy things with their talent. But unlike the worst astroturf campaigns, Clemente's is all real. He's not selling anything.

Except maybe himself. Could McDonald's remake the Bird-Jordan spots? If so, Denis Clemente's clearly ready.

ha! you can see where its fake. if you keep replaying to shot from 0:12 on the scroll bar and as the ball starts to come back down to the basket. you can see an almost deleted image of someone reshotting the ball in to the basket.

Who cares if it's fake... the "trick" itself is lame... unless bouncing a ball off a scoreboard is allowed during game play... then maybe it'd be cool. The camera man's stupid response adds to the lameness.

Its a total fake. If you look carefully at the time the ball take a turn to go to the basket, it kind of freezes for a split sec and then continues. Now that is where they edited the two videos they took. look carefully.
