With the Big South, Horizon and Ohio Valley conference tournaments starting today, March Madness has officially arrived. Over the next 35 days we'll have the end of the college basketball regular season, 30 conference championship games, Selection Sunday and, of course, the 63 games that make up the greatest event in all of sports, the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
To get you in the mood, here's an excellently edited four-minute clip of one of the greatest games in recent Tourney history, the 2005 Regional Final between Illinois and Arizona. The Big Ten Network showed a replay of this last night and I was riveted, even knowing the outcome.
Unless you're an Arizona fan or really can't stand the Illini, you can't help but be hyped up by that clip. Happy March.
