Hey, how about some John Wall video?

It's Monday, the U.S. Open is still dominating the sports-o-sphere (click here for Jay's excellent live blog), and my caffeine is beginning to wear off. So let's take a brief post-lunch break with some John Wall highlight footage, courtesy of YouTube and Straight Pinkie. Because why not, right?

The video's nothing new, and there's plenty more where that came from, but it bears repeating that with each new John Wall YouTube I watch I become more and more convinced that Kentucky is going to be maybe a little bit better than the college hoops are giving them credit for. And people are giving them a lot of credit. No wonder Kentucky fans are so excited (and so very protective of John Calipari, too).

    You you will see how bad he sucks when UK is playing for the championship and Duke is out in the 1st round. I'd be jealous to not to have him on my team!!!!!!!

    did you notice how all it showed was layups and dunks? think that means he can't actually shoot?

    If John Wall is a "thug" and Duke wouldn't consider him what does that make Dahntay Jones?
    Duke has no moral authority when you factor in Chris Duhon and Carlos Boozer's obvious enticements to enroll at Duke, Corey Maggette being ineligible to play (but somehow Duke never had to vacate their Final Four appearence..unlike Umass) or Shelden Williams being accused of rape prior to his acceptance at Duke

    Let's face it Duke fans haven't had much to cheer about in oh I can't remember when......Coach K is a Bobby Knight discple. and like Knight he won early but dwindled late in his carreer. How long do you think he holds on before figuring out he is the 3rd or 4th best coach in the ACC and there are new coaches who could take the talent he has and do much better? At some point every coach looses his stomach for it. Just ask Ricky P.

    I'm really tired of hearing all this smack. Of course John Wall doesn't have a jumper, but he doesn't need one. At least not in high school. If you could get a layup anytime you wanted would you bother with a jumper?
    And his misdemeanor crime was the equivalent of getting a speeding ticket. You're right, sounds like a thug to me.

    baker baker, maybe you should keep up with the news. john wall took duke off his list when he narrowed it to miami and uk. coach k and duke said they would wait and see what happened with his arrest. SOME PEOPLE ALWAYS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE ONE THAT TURNED THEM DOWN.

    an effective point guard drives and finds the open man if he can't finish. a point gurd makes the defense react to him not settle for jumpshots.
