Extra Onions is a roundup of college hoops stuff from around the 'Webs. As always, email or follow me on Twitter to send along links I should see.

• How much do you know about Washington point guard Isaiah Thomas, besides that he spells his name with an extra "a"? Did you know he plays NBA 2K9 against most anyone who challenges him? Or that he's been sporting a mini fro-hawk throughout much of the offseason? Or that he speaks about strawberry Pop Tarts with the sort of reverent tones usually reserved for filet mignon?

IT: I can't live without them. I eat them every morning, and I have at least one pack in my backpack when I leave the house. I'm probably eating two to three packs a day.

LW: How long has this been going on?

IT: Probably when I went off to prep school [for a two-year stint at South Kent in Connecticut]. All you do is eat the little snacks out there. I liked Pop-Tarts before that, but I really started eating them a lot in Connecticut. I used to just eat them out of the box, but now, at Washington, I've got a toaster, and I'm toasting them. That makes them even better, and I can't stop eating them.

Now you do! You can thank SI's Luke Winn for that, whose offseason interviews continue to be awesome.

Georgetown Hoyas fans are excited about the prospect of having an interior bruiser in the near future, provided, that is, he chooses Georgetown. Somewhere, Michael Sweetney is smiling.

• Need to know the best incoming freshmen for 2009-10? Blogging the Bracket's Dobber has you covered. Likewise with transfers. Elliot Williams probably belongs on the first team instead of Derrick Caracter, seeing as Williams was very effective down the stretch for Duke and Caracter has never seen a donut he didn't order a dozen of, but yeah, all the notables are there.

Duquesne's B.J. Monteiro was arrested this weekend for allegedly stealing "a laptop computer, iPod and cash with a total value of $1,400" during a party in August. This is me tsk-ing and shaking my head, Mr. Monteiro! Tsk!

• Jeff Goodman -- whose 6-year-old is apparently a putt-putt savant -- talks to Mike Brey about replacing Notre Dame forward Scott Martin, who will miss the year with an ACL tear.

Alright, who's fronting the toaster for Isaiah? I smell an NCAA inquiry. You read it here first.
