• Myles Brand is back, sort of. Brand made his first public appearance in months -- he was diagnosed with cancer in January -- on Sunday night to discuss the merits of helping others, according to the AP wrap on the subject. The real news is how gaunt Brand looks. This is a sick man, and so any and all criticisms of his tenure as NCAA president can wait for now. For now it's just cool to see him out and about.
