When it's a school's night to shine, everybody shines. Cops included.

This snippet comes from an AP article discussing the national title celebrations that went down back in Lawrence last night. I found it amusing.

An hour after the game, the only visible police action occurred when a young man carrying three bottles of beer walked to up to three policemen and began to vomit.

“You’d better give me those,” one policeman said.

The young man handed him the bottles, apologized and began walking away. His girlfriend high-fived the policemen and told them, “Thanks for being nice.”

That's a pretty good outcome for a guy who decided, "Hey, I'll go puke by those cops over there!"

Generally speaking, I'm against police brutality, but I can't say I'm against brutality against anyone who chooses to puke on or near another person. If it was me with the nightstick, I'd have tried my best to make the guy vomit again, but this time, the vomiting would be caused by internal bleeding brought on by my nightstick.

I'm in awe of your restraint, officer. I second the young lady's high-five, and I hope your donuts are extra warm and fresh this morning.
