Bubble Babble: And that's a bubble wrap

On The Good Side of the Bubble (currently looking at a 1-spot bubble):

Arizona

On the Bad Side of the Bubble:

Creighton, San Diego State, St. Mary's, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Providence

In There Like Swimwear (46 teams):

Atlantic 10: Temple, Xavier, Dayton
ACC: Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Clemson, Florida State, Boston College, Maryland
Big 12: Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M
Big East: Louisville, Connecticut, Pitt, Villanova, Marquette, Syracuse, West Virginia
Big Ten: Michigan State, Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Minnesota, Michigan
C-USA: Memphis
Horizon: Cleveland State, Butler
Missouri Valley: Northern Iowa
Mountain West: Utah, Brigham Young
Pac-10: USC, Washington, UCLA, Cal, Arizona State
SEC: Mississippi State, Louisiana State, Tennessee
WCC: Gonzaga
WAC: Utah State

The Likely One-Bid Conferences (18 teams):

Binghamton (America East), East Tennessee State (Atlantic Sun), Portland State (Big Sky), Radford (Big South), Cal State Northridge (Big West), Virginia Commonwealth (Colonial), Cornell (Ivy), Siena (MAAC), Akron (MAC),  Morgan State (MEAC), Robert Morris (Northeast), Morehead State (Ohio Valley), American (Patriot), Chattanooga (Southern), Stephen F. Austin (Southland), Alabama State (SWAC), North Dakota State (Summit), Western Kentucky (Sun Belt)

Notes and Changes:

• So this is it. Mississippi State won the SEC championship (which included a positively bizarre last ten seconds of the game), narrowing the bubble to one, and bumping somebody.

• Arizona's the team I leave in. Creighton, Saint Mary's, San Diego State, and Virginia Tech are my last four out, with Saint Mary's maybe having the most intriguing case. If the Saint Mary's portion of the discussion in the selection committee room was on pay-per-view, I'd absolutely pay to hear it.

Rather have seen St. Mary's over Arizona. Who doesn't like a mid-major getting a chance?

Dicky V's is the biggest [profane] in college b-ball. Bad mouthing Arizona about their 19-13 record. Do you think for one moment if it was UNC or DUKE with the same record he would still be touting St. Mary's. HECK NO! Get rid of him, he's been the VOICE for way too long!

Dicky V forgot more about college B-ball than either of you will ever know. Does that mean you have to agree with everything that he says? No,...but if you don't agree with him that doesn't make him a tool. He gets paid to give HIS opinion, not yours!

Arizona lost a whole lot of games recently. If they won maybe 2-3 more of those then they deserve to be in, but no they shouldn't be in regardless of their schedule. You don't get 20 wins your not in unless you win your conference tournament.
