Veazey was living his dream, getting ready to begin his college baseball career at Georgia. The coach had already penciled him in as the starting second baseman. Then, before Veazey ever got a chance to take the field for the Bulldogs in a game, his scooter collided with a car on campus and left him paralyzed from the waist down.
