Scouting Report on Julian Wright

Wright is a quick and athletic defender with a 7-1 wing span. On the offensive end, he excels at slashing to the basket and passing the ball, which he can do effectively with either hand. Best at scoring around the basket, he is not much of a perimeter threat.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
