Scouting Report on Pat Bostickby Mike Farrell - 06/20/2006
Bostick is a great example of how important it is for a quarterback to have what it takes upstairs. He’s not a tremendous athlete and doesn’t have the strongest arm, but his accuracy is excellent and his ability to read defenses is strong. Bostick makes smart, quick decisions with the football and is patient and poised enough to go through his progressions. He feels the rush well and knows when to step up to avoid pressure. His skills would be best utilized in a quick, spread offense that utilizes the shotgun to take advantage of his smarts and decision-making and emphasize his accuracy.
