Scouting Report on Clint Chapmanby Jerry Meyer - 08/29/2006
Chapman is a mobile big man who can both beat his man down the court for easy buckets and trail the break and make three-pointers. He also can score on back to the basket moves with his soft touch. Not explosive off the court or a physical player, he has plenty of room to improve as a defender and rebounder.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
