Scouting Report on Jeremy Pargo
by Jerry Meyer - 09/09/2004A strong and athletic point guard, Pargo excels at attacking the rim. Best shooting the ball off the dribble, he shoots it well enough from three to keep the defense honest but could improve in that area. He has the potential to be a tremendous on the ball defender.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
