by Jerry Meyer - 09/17/2009Joseph is a unique point guard prospect because of the complete nature of his game. A sound decision maker with a strong will to win, Joseph also has a surprising athletic burst to go along with his high skill level. With his high level feel for the game, he transitions well from being a distributor to being a scorer. He shoots the ball much better than most point guards and is an elite defender.
Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
