Scouting Report on Martavis Bryant

On the Hoof: A tall, lanky athlete that is a bit on the thin side at this time. Physically he is built like former Georgia wide receiver Fred Gibson.
Needs Improvement: Needs to improve strength and muscle-mass, which should help against man coverage and with jump balls. Bryant has to catch all passes with his hands and not his body.
Most Impressive: He has a fluid, long stride and enough speed to beat you deep. He also is not afraid to go across the middle and make a catch for the first down. He will be dangerous in any passing situation as a receiver.
Conclusion: Bryant will make an impact as a freshman because of his speed and ability to make yards after the catch. His long, deceptive stride also makes him a perfect candidate to be a kick returner.
