Scouting Report on Kyle Baublitz

How we scouted: Film footage, In-person visits, Game setting, Campby Barry Every - 10/12/2009
  • SpeedDivision I Player
  • SizeBlue Chip
  • StrengthBlue Chip
  • AgilityBlue Chip
  • Ball SkillsDivision I Player
On the Hoof: Has wide shoulders, thick neck and is large all over. He is thick from the knees to the shoulders and surprisingly athletic for his size. He will remind fans of a young Jared Allen.
Needs improvement: Baublitz does not really play the positions that he projects as. He needs to work on route running and finding the space in the zone if he is to be a tight end. As a defensive player, he needs to learn how to play with his hand on the ground, because there is no way he is a linebacker at the next level.
Most impressive: This huge, massive athlete is very physical, and he is an awesome blocker. He is also very versatile because he could grow into an offensive lineman or a defensive tackle at the next level.
Conclusion: It might take some time to find his position on the football field. That being said, he is a can’t-miss prospect that will surely excel on the gridiron once he finds his position.
