Scouting Report on Seth Tarver

A well built athlete, Tarver has a solid all around skill base and a good feel for the game. He makes good things happen with the ball in his hands as he sees the floor well as a passer. Strong defender and rebounder as well. Outside jumper is improving but still needs work.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for Rivals.com. He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."

While he and the Jesuit Crusaders couldn't quite match the championship they won in 2005, Seth Tarver still went out a winner. The athletic 6-foot-5, 200-pound swingman from Portland put together a fantastic three games at Mac Court in Eugene at the state tournament, easily earning the respect of everyone on hand while helping Jesuit to a third place finish. Tarver now takes his career to college at Oregon State, while leaving behind an incredible legacy of success.
