DeMarco Cobbs

On the Hoof: Cobbs has wide and thick shoulders and a fairly thick neck for a skill position player. His arms are lean yet muscular. He does have thick, muscular legs and should physically remind fans of Alabama sophomore Burton Scott.
Needs Improvement: As a receiver, he must improve his route running and work on catching the ball with his hands away from his body. Defensively, he must prove he will knock a ball carrier to the ground with consistency.
Most Impressive: Cobbs is used to being in the spotlight playing quarterback and working magic once the ball is in his hands. He is elusive and strong enough to break arm tackles at the next level.
Conclusion: There is still some question to what position he will play at the next level. Most likely he will become and inside receiver or a strong safety at the next level. The depth chart may be the deciding factor where he gets is first opportunity. Also do not be surprised if he is not used in the Wildcat formation.
